The API lets you programmatically create domains and automate DMARC DNS provisioning — useful for anyone building multi-tenant DMARC management. DMARCdrift Pro ($29/month) includes a REST API for data access (reports, domain data, alerts) and webhook endpoints, but does not offer hosted DMARC or DNS-write API capability. If hosted DMARC or provisioning automation is the requirement, DMARCwise is worth evaluating.

DMARCdrift processes forensic (RUF) reports — the message-level failure reports that show which specific emails failed authentication. DMARCwise does not appear to offer RUF processing. On alerting, DMARCdrift fires specific pattern-based alerts: alignment regression (when your pass rate drops), spoofing signals (new unauthorized sending IPs), and operational issues (DNS record changes, SPF lookup limits, weak DKIM keys). DMARCwise's alert model wasn't confirmed in its documentation at this level of specificity — it monitors for changes but the pattern-matching logic is unverified.

DMARCwise includes SAML 2.0 SSO (Okta, Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID) and TLS reporting at tiers where most competitors don't offer them. It also has an MSP program with per-domain pricing (€1/domain, €100 minimum) that is more transparent than flat-tier MSP plans. The product is actively maintained — SPF monitoring, DKIM monitoring, and DMARCbis format support all shipped in late 2025. If you need SSO as a non-negotiable or you're building an MSP practice and want per-domain billing, DMARCwise has a real advantage here.
